Adeline is a genius for writing this book seeing as how lots of women honestly probably feel this way but are too shy or modest to admit!
The main character, Cassie Robichaud, loses her drunken husband after packing everything up and moving from Detroit to New Orleans. Her husband is killed during a flash flood after he leaves in his car post argument.
Cassie, who is a waitress at her friend and once-crush Will's diner, Cafe Rose, but gets invited to this secret society for women's fantasies.

Cassie notices her favorite couple who are regulars at the diner and how they interact with each other, so in love and not caring who sees. She also notices the woman wearing a small golden bracelet with charms attached. She loves that bracelet.
The woman accidentally leaves her diary at the diner one night and Cassie takes it home. She sneaks a peak and what she finds essentially changes her life forever.
The main lady of S.E.C.R.E.T, Matilda, who's wrist also lends home to a gold charm bracelet, meets with Cassie to get the diary back and invites her to join them in a new journey. After deliberating, Cassie agrees and decides to change her life forever.
She fills out a questionnaire about her secret fantasies that she honestly had no idea she even had and ends up having them all tastefully fulfilled! With each fantasy she accomplishes, she receives a gold charm with a number 1-9. Upon completion of all fantasies, she may choose to stay with S.E.C.R.E.T as a mentor or she may choose to put her new-found knowledge to use in a committed relationship.
I don't want to give away too much because it is just too good to let on! It's erotic so many people assume it will be just like 50 Shades, the father to really launch erotica novels, but let me tell you, it's very different! There are multiple men, multiple fantasies and no offices! Just a great book and beautifully written!
